On behalf of our staff, the wonderfully supportive members of the Fulton Church of Christ, and the many generous donors who have made this school possible, thank you for your interest in enrolling your son or daughter at Mel Hux Christian Academy. The following is a step-by-step summary of our admissions process:
· Contact us to schedule a time to come in and visit with our staff and see our facilities. This time will be extremely beneficial if you have questions thay you’ve been unable to find answers to on our website.
· Complete an application for admission to MHCA, and submit it along with a $25 application processing fee. You can obtain a paper copy of our application during your visit to our school, or you can download a copy to print and complete. For added convenience, we have also made available an application that you can submit electronically instead of mailing. Links to both are provided later.
· When you application and processing fee are received, you will be contacted promptly to schedule an interview. During the interview, you will be given a summary of all pertinent information that will be covered more in-depth in the Parent-Student Handbook.
· The Administration and School Board will prayerfully consider your application and information provided by you during the interview. Once a decision has been made, you will be contacted. Those who are accepted will need to complete official enrollment paperwork to finalize the admission process.
· Parents will need to schedule a time for their child to complete diagnostic testing to ensure proper placement in each academic area. Parents will also need to attend a Parent Orientation. Dates for both will be announced soon.
